Max Damage Per Second

Since the Symthic charts don't include a rate of damage for the guns, I decided to plug in the numbers here and there to make one myself for the clan I'm in.

I think it would be cool if you guys could add something like it to your charts, but you guys are so thorough you'd probably make a full graph for every gun. lol

Anyway I just like to have a quick reference chart rather than doing the math every time. Here's what I came up with. (My apologies if this has already been done)

There are a few bullet damage charts out there but it's hard to see the true power of the gun unless you also account for the rate of fire. Why does a FAMAS with 5.56 NATO rounds kill faster than a G3A3 with more powerful 7.62 NATO Rounds? Hopefully this chart will explain.

I am only doing some simple math to make this a quick reference. All credit for the research on bullet damage and ROF goes to Symthic.com

Things to keep in mind:
1. Players start out with 100 health points.
2. This is maximum damage. The numbers begin to drop off after about 10 meters but the comparison remains basically the same.
3. A lot of your bullets will miss the target, so a gun that does 300 damage per second probably wont actually kill someone in 1/3 of a second. The foregrip is being nerfed, which will make it even harder to put all this damage to use, especially for the FAMAS.
4. I am only calculating automatic and burst weapons.

DAMAGE PER SECOND

Assault (my favorite class)
1. M16A3/A4 = 333.3
2. AK-74M = 270.8
3. M416 = 312.5
4. AEK-971 = 375.0
5. F2000 = 354.2
6. AN-94 = 500.0 (Only 250.0 when full auto)
7. G3A3 = 275.0
8. KH2002 = 333.3
9. FAMAS = 416.7
10. L85A2 = 270.8

Engineer (these numbers look about the same as assault but they drop off more at range and the guns have more recoil)
1. M4A1 = 333.3
2. AKS-74U = 270.8
3. A-91 = 333.3
4. G36C = 312.5
5. SCAR-H = 300.0
6. SG553 = 291.7
7. G53 = 312.5
8. QBZ-95B = 270.8

Support (large magazines help to make up for the high recoil)
1. M27 IAR = 312.5
2. RPK-74M = 291.7
3. M249 = 333.3
4. PKP = 350.0
5. M240B = 325.0
6. M60E4 = 290.0
7. Type 88 = 270.8
8. QBB-95 = 270.8
9. MG36 = 312.5

PDW (used for leveling up recon - you know it's true)
1. PP-2000 = 270.8
2. UMP-45 = 250.0
3. MP7 = 316.7
4. PDW-R = 312.5
5. P90 = 300.0
6. AS-VAL = 330.0

Shotguns (these only work if the end of your barrel is jammed up your enemy's nose, but whatever)
1. USAS-12 = 1100.0*
2. MK3A1 = 765.0*
*Values are calculated for 12g Buckshot. 12g Frag damage is too complicated to put in a chart, but I'd estimate that it does about 9001 damage to every person within 5 klicks of the impact point.

Pistols (crap my F2000 is empty)
1. G18 = 300.0
2. 93R = 300.0

Good Post, I appreciate the effort. But we have a time to kill chart which is essentially the same thing. Although we will see to integrating your data to the new chart.
