Battlefield 3 Game Data. Vanilla & All DLCs(End Game upon release)

With the Symthic data browser down at the moment and End Game coming I thought I'd gather all the game data in one place for anyone who wants to explore, compare, or analyze them.

  • This is what was once on the Symthic data browser and contains patch data from release to Armored Kill

Vanilla to AK

  • This is the Aftermath game data. Data pulled from the game March 2nd 2013 and is data from both patched and unpatched folders.

Aftermath EBX Dump

  • End Game Patch. Will be extracted the exact same way as the Aftermath data above ^

End Game EBX Dump

From what I can tell it seems like it seems like the End Game patch/DLC will be deployed across all platforms when they all go down for maintenance for the PS3 premium release. Here's hoping the learned a lesson on trying to deploy the patch and DLC content to xbox and PC premium at the same time. Regardless, once the files are out and I have them downloaded it takes me about an hour/ hour and half to get it all extracted, converted, uploaded and posted.

I also have the whole game in a raw file dump. There are a few fun things that can be done. Pull audio, textures, models, ect. I haven't had to much time to play with it so I only know how to get some of the resources out completely. If your interested, let me know. It is a 30gb+ folder but I can get it to you if you let me know.

Also I've been working on a few different methods to pull and combine ALL the weapon and/or vehicle into one or a series of a few text files. That way the combined text files can be made for both AM data then End Game data and compared side by side using a program like Notepad++ to point out everything changed from one patch to the other. If you have any idea brainstorm! My methods are still a little....unorganized.

A HUGE thanks to Frankelstner who has either provided or helped me tweak the tools to extract and convert the data.

When you get the data done, let me know. If it's on a Tuesday, I get out of my last class at 2pm EST and from then on I can work for ~5 hours on the changelog.

is it possible to put the WHOLE files into one bigass .word file?

if so, we can just run the word compare function, it will highlight all the things that have changed.

I could copy and paste all the tect from the .txt files into a single word file, no idea if that would work though. Right now however I'm going to sleep.
