Nice, might want to mention that it's just the recoil for one side though :p

???

If I understood your post the right way, you got something wrong. If we are assuming perfect RC, then this includes compensation for the drift of the gun. So you actually end up with symmetrical recoil. The number is the same for both sides...

In other words, this game's code looks like it's written by 5 year old kiddo compared to how DICE did things with BF3.

Yes! It's Micky Mouse's Magical Buttrape House

Nubby, lulz. And MP5 -> MP5k is just the compact version.

k means kurz which is german for short or something.

Kind of like the G36C, which stands for commando or compact

MP = MaschinenPistole = SMG (pretty much)

K = kurz = short

=> MP5K = Maschinenpistole 5 Kurz

G = Gewehr = Rifle

C = Compact

=> G36C = Gewehr 36 Compact & G53 = Gewehr 53

MG = MaschinenGewehr = LMG

AG = Anbau-Granatwerfer = underslung grenade launcher

=> MG36 = Maschinengewehr 36 & AG36 (also known as M320) = Anbau-Granatwerfer 36

...yep, we germans are really creative at giving our guns names...

And it's better that just Type [insert random number here] for almost everything like the Chinese do. Could be a tank but also a AK-47 clone.
But this might be better for another thread. The amount of derails in this forum is too damn high! :D

Yeah exactly, some people might think it's the total recoil

well, even if they do...this little list would still give a good view of the recoil of every weapon in comparison to eachother

Do you mean the "center of balance" for horizontal recoil? If that's the case, then the left values are negatives and the right values are positives. So, you would have to find the median. For example, the median of the AEK-971's horizontal recoil is -0.1.

Unless you mean if the horizontal recoil were to be adjusted on every gun so it'd have an equal chance of recoiling left or right while keeping the same recoil margin. . .

to make things easier: The higher the number, the more the recoil f*cks you over

low number, high accuracy from recoil
