With this i seen my hitrates in ranges 150-350m has gone up on all weapons, but I tend to have a hard time doing 360 spin kills now.

LOL, are you preparing a 1337 youtube montage of 360 nOsCoP3z/qUiCkScOp3z?

To answer the question, i was using Logitech G3 from 2006 on the lower DPI setting, 800DPI I think. It recently started to get flaky so I replaced it with a Logitech g9x on the highest setting (5000DPI?) but I think I could increase the polling rate more. Honestly I can't tell the difference in precision from the old G3.

I changed mine, slightly, now using 3600DPI /0.25 in game sensitivity.

BF3 sensitivity is at like 0.22ish and my Mouse DPI is set to 2000 for infantry.
Raw Mouse Input is On (Whatever that is, everyone strongly recommended it :P)
Windows mouse thingy is 6/11 (because lol sun)
Acceleration is off (because lol sun)

Steelseries QcK master race.

I have yet to encounter a mousepad that offers the same quality : price ratio.

Then again, there's a Goliathus speed around, but being Razer, no.
It's cheap, yeah, but the performance of optical and laser sensors on it is sub par unfortunately. I get much better results with the NP+ (same size as the Qck+) which offers much better tracking and less jitter.
Bf3's sensitivity is not resolution dependent. Therefore, it won't go through pixels and will, instead, go through degrees. So, the best possible configuration is highest dpi and lowest in-game sensitivity you can use.
As usual with mice there are a lot of misinformation in this thread. The statement above is not true for all mice. It's is true the Zowie AM (the mouse ToTheSun uses) as it performs best on 2300 CPI, but most mice do not perform best on the highest CPI steps, actually most perform terrible on high CPI and much better on lower values. My advice would be going for native sensor resolutions and then try which of them is the best. The G400 for example performs best on 800 and 400 CPI with max tracking rates of >4 m/s while the tracking rates for 1600 and 3200 are only around 2 m/s. Also 1600 and 3200 CPI have quite noticable jitter.

Also don't mistake CPI for accuracy, it's just sensitivity.

Now to reply to the thread in general:

Roccat Savu

800 CPI

1000 Hz polling rate

Source code

1
2
GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.036000
GstInput.MouseSensitivityVehicle 0.500000

Before I used to play with the Deathadder 3G, 1800 CPI and 500 Hz and

Source code

1
2
GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.016000
GstInput.MouseSensitivityVehicle 0.230000

The Savu is an excellent mouse utilising the Avago A3090 sensor, one of the best optical sensors to date. High tracking rates, no jitter, no accel. All I wish for in one :)

Oh, and if anybody wants to educate himself in regards of mice I'd advise this Overclock.net thread with heaps of information. Seeing that you guys like statistics so much maybe this technical write up is interesting for you too.

It's entirely possible to move my G400 only one pixel on the desktop at 3600 DPI 6/11 windows, with great concentration and effort because of the high sensitivity. However on 400 or 800 I do tend to notice it feels much less smooth, especially in game where below 1800 DPI on about half of the current in game sensitivity I use causes massive amounts of pixel skipping and seems pretty jittery.
