Sweet spots in tanks or bugs?

I spend a lot of time in tanks and often notice random damage in tank vs. tank or tank vs. RPG battles.

It is often happening if a tank is not on a perfectly flat ground - i.e. driving up or down even small slope.

Even if a shell hits tank from underneath or above, according to graph 61 is the max damage you can do, but I can swear several times I received ~80% damage from one shot at my tank, as well as destroyed enemy tank in 2 hits while I shouldn't.

The biggest "wow" was when I received 92 damage in one hit driving a tank at Karkand CQ slope towards A from Javelin launched at the end of that road (around B).

Does anyone else notice random damage to tanks? Has anyone tried looking for sweet spots? Can you do more damage than 61 in one hit?

If your locked on by a laser guided missile, the missile does a top down attack, not sure of the damage but I do know its the equivalent to being raped.
How the hell did I get a sniper as my top weapon?

If a support player leaves some c4 on your tank and doesn't detonate it, then you will receive damage because of it.

Re: Sweet spots in tanks or bugs?

I have noticed this too. I know of several times where I got one hit disable from the top/front of an enemy tank. Haven't figured out the rhyme/reason though.
