Does it read all the settings when Plotic is started or does it read ie. the save paths once the plots are ready?
It should read them when it starts up so I can run many of them in silent mode at the same time on one pc.
Speeds up the process a lot.

Ok, I've uploaded 2.03. I've fixed the silent run to grab all the data from the ini file before the run. The scaling issue should also be fixed.

In terms of everything non-silent run. That is all very beta-ish, so don't be surprised if it seems a bit off, because it is. Like "<<CUSTOM>>" isn't working right now.

You can, however, get a look at all of the neat shit it is doing...woo!

NEW PLOTIC! WOO!

Testing all weapons for usability in the newest version and so far, I've had some issues.
List of weapons that do not work so far: DAO-12, MK3A1, M1014, M16A4, M18, M4A1, M98B, 870MCS, Saiga 20K, USAS-12. I don't even know what the M18 is. Other than that, the newest version doesn't seem to like the M16 and its variants or shotguns very much.

FYI, other than those few weapons, I'm liking the new version. I didn't want you to think I was nitpicking for errors. I just want to help refine it by reporting problems. Good work.

P.S. I assume that is the recoil decrease function, Symthic?

Yeah... I will weed out the folders... The guns that fail, mostly shotguns, so it is something to do with the way they use ammo, maybe there is a way to work that out as well.

I'm pretty sure the M18 is the claymore.

But if i see you again back in detox, put my remains in my snuff box!

So wait. You mean I'm not going to be able to see Plotic charts of the claymore? Unacceptable!!
Kidding. Anyways, I've fiddled around with it a bit more and I like it. I love not having to manually enter all the attachment information anymore. Thank you for this.

Re: Plotic - Graphical representation of weapon deadliness

Wait... Why is foregrip and laser sight on the same row? ;o That's the default setup I'm using :> Laser should be up at the barrel attachments with the rest

Getting error when trying to start any simulation:

"Wrong format on in-data"

Maybe just Win 7 being stupid again... but well... Heads up

Got files in:

Plotic
>gun_images
>weapons
>plotic_silent_template.ini
>Plotic_c203.exe

The images are displayed properly at least

Re: Plotic - Graphical representation of weapon deadliness

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just copy the relevant numbers into a custom made text file? ;o Then all numbers are in the exact same positions every time, plus probably easier to access than a .sym file :>

Not really and when updates come, we dont have to type values for every weapon again.
We just throw new files to folder and it's updated.

It is extremely unlikely there would be any change to the file structure at this point in development, especially on such a core feature such as data storage.

Hmm... so what do you use for your decimal point in terms of localization?

Re: Plotic - Graphical representation of weapon deadliness

Should be comma as default, probably the reason yeah... Programmer myself, damn decimal sign is always causing issues... Been a while though so forgot about it :|

The universal decimal setting should work, then it should use the dot regardless of country..

Don't know what language you made plotic in, but in C# it would be "CultureInfo.InvariantCulture" with "System.Globalization;" loaded..

Hmm, happened to open the .ini... noticed the "[Config] DecimalSymbol=." though changing it had no effect
