Re: Who's your favorite BF3 youtuber..?

Ill watch rival or levelcap occasionally. They have some useful videos but most of their stuff is pretty boring.

Ill watch russianbadger any time. His videos are actually entertaining although he does not seem to be as good of a player as the other two.

There are also a lot of useless youtubers out there like that one who every video is him sitting behind someone for as long as he can.

Levelcap and xfactor by far. They dont ramble, they have an actual point with their videos and get the point across and they know how to play without being 1337 dick waving faggots about it.
Much respect!

Half the videos I've seen of xfactor he calls people noobs and tell them to google his name lol

His videos are still pretty good though.

Re: Who's your favorite BF3 youtuber..?

1. RivalR1sk
2. RussianBadger
3. RivalXfactor

1. Played TDM with him, in his squad. I thought he was a poser at first but then he MVP1ed and his battlelog cocnfirmed he was a Rival. His youtube had some nifty Squad Rush footage in it. He killed a member of the enemy team and was nearly out of bullets, so he took the kit and ended up with a Silenced KH2002 with a holosight. He did pretty well with that gun, despite the fact that I think it is a goofy setup.

2. RussianBadger is just goofy and he is pretty fun to watch. He is a rush guy as well, and I am trying to set up rush as my new favorite game mode. I like that he has never been much of an M16 user, too. If it wasn't for him and his videos I would still be using the M416 exclusively. He introduced me to Symthic.

3. RivalXfactor is a professional player, I really like his mouse and FPS tutorials and they have improved my game significantly. I think that he fronts professional tactics as the best way to play pub battlefield, and I sort of disagree with that. Pub battlefield is a hugely different game because there are 2 to 4 times as many people. He can make his tactics work because he is one of the most skilled players in the world, but if you are playing pub then more people means that you can afford to specialize with your weapon or fight at much longer ranges then are typical in professional play. Making one weapon work in every situation really clashes with my play style.

Re: Who's your favorite BF3 youtuber..?

I used to enjoy Shibby2142 but his recent videos have lacked... content. TBH Badger's recent AR guide had me cringing, there are a lot of factors he didn't consider in his comparrisons.

Hey guys, lets all remember here that this is Symthic, and we are all mature enough to debate a topic without becoming emotional or insulting. Ad Hominim attacks only demonstrate that your position is weak and that you've run out of supporting evidence and serve to undermine your own position. I hope no one here drops to that level.

3. RivalXfactor ... he is one of the most skilled players in the world

I REEAAALLLLYYY disagree with this. I've played against way better players that had me by my ass anytime i tried to make an effort. I've seen videos of his tutorials and of some of his clan vs clan games. Honestly, he never came across to me as one of the most skilled players. Maybe his team as a whole is good, but i just don't see it.

Re: Who's your favorite BF3 youtuber..?

DCRU colin - put out the best battlefield video of all time - africa/arica
d0n7bl1nk - personalities a lot better than some of the more 'serious' youtubers

Also watch some of rivalxfactor + levelcap, but find some of their stuff is painful, especially their competitive games with 8 guys screaming over there mikes at each other.

Almost forgot - Oshiseven - smaller youtuber that puts out some nice heli videos.

Another youtuber I like very much is blackmesatech (Youtube ID) a.k.a. rivaLravic. He's been producing video since BFBC2 and OMG his video always shows either insane vehicle skill or hilarious moments. I have LMAO so many times watching his video.

Re: Who's your favorite BF3 youtuber..?

Not in any particular order
DaRussianBadger - first BF commentatorI watched - very funny and massive overuse of memes
Shibby - loved his earlier stuff - employed by Machinima now which might explain lack o content compared to 6 months ago
Birgirpall - just funny trolling - always makes e shit my pants
Berduuu - like Birgirpall
ShoSho118 - CAMPING FEGGOT - funny commentaries and trolling of snipers
LevelCap - good informative tactical gameplay - actually really enjoy his/Matimio's 'Get to the Chopper' sries
RivalXfactor - this guy is pro and super helpful to the community - you will learn a lot from him - member of the best BF3 Clan in the US, possibly the World
Rival Beast - as above, just not as many videos - more clan matches
Oplim77- AKA DCRU Colin - All round awesome guy, often just listen to his commentaries
D0ntB7ink - regular content and very strong player - hillarious live comms with awkward non-obscenity directed outburts
Matimio - good, regular content, very informative - good team ups with Level Cap and Rival plus other 'Pubstars'
Fhrope - good mythbusting episodes
C1intBeastwood - funny trolling vids
DaSquirrelsNuts more mature commentary aimed at the tactical and more discerning viewer
GrayDongle - n00b hunter - need I say anymore
JurgenCutters - Javelin Squad - could watch the Caspin Tower Specialists for hours making the oppo rage consistently
KingKumaForever - AKA Sgt Enigma - just a straight up beast and seems like a decent down to earth guy
Ratsclan - some great team focussed Rush gameplay
SpcOpsDelta - not so much BF3 content bt some realy good BF:BC2 stuff
Threatty - the AT4 master - the guy is a wizard

Re: Who's your favorite BF3 youtuber..?

My Top 3:

L0ckl34r - Excellent gameplays with an emphasis on teamwork and communication. I know that every video will be great, and hes a great player too.

d0n7bl1nk - Great gameplay but without the serious business mentality of many other commentators. His vignettes with amusing gameplay liven up the channel.

blackmesatech - Ravic continues to be an excellent player and video editor. And although he's one of the best players i've seen, he keeps mostly to the shenanigans in his videos, letting the xfactors post the super serious gameplay. Definitely take the time to watch his BC2 stuff, especially the AT4 videos.

Runners up are Matimi0 (regular videos but keeping it casual) and MrAssault89 (for some solid pub gameplay).

I noticed this among gamers. Gamers don't handle a competitive atmosphere very well. Anyone who's been on a lacrosse/aussie rules/football/rugby/hockey team would LAUGH at what people think is shouting at each other in those pubstar games. People have mentioned the harsh communication many times and I've tried finding it, but rival and his team REALLY doesn't shout at each other in-game. Some of them bitch like little girls, but there is nothing that will remotely compare to a real life team sport. The communication is very dense if you are used to three buddies telling fart jokes and sipping coke over their mikes when gaming and it can distract from the game itself, but that kind of communication is what keeps a team floating. Levelcaps team works better overall because no one bitches so there is air time for the squad leader when he gives out orders. xfactor has a bit harder time with that.

I really enjoy the pubstars tournament. Its like watching sports on tv. It's awesome and getting the POV from many different views is really nice.
