Sometimes. The compass can be a bit finicky though...

Also, sad day when your phone corrects FAMAS to be in caps. Damn it.

That's not bad. My phone corrected "lets deforest Caspian Boarder" into "Lets de-foreskin Asians".... I think my phone is a racist pervert....

I would start singing Disney, but then I would be led on a path of destruction, eventually ending up with a boyfriend who is actually a skull with Macaroni and cheese.

Didn't even know there was such thing as a compass. Don't imagine it helping me out, though, and will always ignore it.

TDM my friends and I always just say 'x from my body', and on CQ and Rush we just say right-side from 1st base 1 M-Com, or a certain flag. We also always make left and right from deployment to deployment (so on Metro CQ right side B flag is different for Russians than US)

Yeah... Even with knowledge of the directions and Compass knowledgeable squad mates... It's smoother to say "below the crane", "At the Metro entrance", "Third Story building",
But you guys have to admit easily memorable spots are not always involved.

LOL, I had to teach a few of my guys that there was a Compass.

Also, I'm getting tired of those vague questionable non-specific callouts. Were I'm like "What?"

I call out Azimuths and distances in rods. I am a squad of one :^(

Having your squadmate say, "there's a guy to the right of x flag" and you have no idea where he even is, nevermind facing. That is totally helpful.

I used to try when flying the MAV and spotting for my squad, but no one has time to look at it so it was a wasted effort. Like most everyone else has said, calling out landmarks just works better.
