From what I know the factory variants excel beyond the weapon's intended ranges (at which the optical variants and the likes excel) due to its higher recoil decrease. However, since the recoil decrease mechanism in Bf1 seems to be recursive, I can't work anything out with my scrub level math.
Also, recoil decrease seems to start immediately. Compared to spread decrease which only starts after the 60/rof seconds, factory variants seems to benefit low rof weapons more than spread decrease does. Recoil decrease also slows down when the current recoil is very low so the weapon takes a long time before reaching 0 deviation from center point. Does this mean at longer ranges H-recoil is a bigger concern that spread increase?
Finally how do storm variants compare to factory variants? Are they more similar to factory variants, optical variants, or are they completely useless in comparison?
