List of the BF1 Console Commands

Hey fellow basement dwellers,
surely I'm not the only one who wants to dive deeply into the settings of Bf1, just like in we did in Bf4.
Therefore I wrote down every available Command in Bf1, so that the even more tech savvy among us can figure out what every new command does....
or simply to make it easier to create a fitting User.cfg without irrelevant commands!

PerfOverlay.DrawFps doesn't work for me anymore. It only shows fps in the menus.

It only stays up for a few seconds for me every time I tried it.

How was it hardcoded to the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta? That is what I want.

Hmm, seems odd to me since the command is definitely the right one.... haven't tested it myself though, since I use shadowplay to display my Fps.
What I have tested though are a whole truckload of different commands for my User.cfg. I left a couple of them out, since I had no clue what the values are or what they do,
but what I have found is kind of new for battlefield: the game seems to be optimized already pretty damn well, because I mostly lost frames when changing values, unlike in Bf4 :thumbsup:
So yeah, my User.cfg is just plain, simple and small now, if anybody has a hot tipp for a special cofiguration then pls post it ;)

in both alpha and beta i tried, and using the code versus the menu showed visibly less blur overall, don't know about the full game though.

Useful to benchmark BF1 performance for various thread counts. Could be set to 4 to see how a comparable i5 would perform if you have an i7. Since the default is 8, does BF1 not readily utilize the extra threads found in some of the high end Broadwell-E processors?

Motion Blur is post-processing and thus hurts your GPU's performance, right? I need every little bit of help for mine.

Also, does anyone know how to get the FPS counter from the Console Commands to stay up like back in the Open Beta?

Looks like BF1 overrides graphics settings every player respawn. Example with motion blur:

1) you disable motion blur in user.cfg like you did in BF4
2) launch the game, check console in the menu and everything is ok: motion blur is 0
3) join server and spawn. Game applies configuration preset which you set in graphics settings.
In this case it is post processing and no matter what preset you have low or ultra, because even on low motion blur is enabled (check initfs_win32)

I'm not sure, but looks like the similar happens with fps counter.
