Yeah, I imagine that is a typo considering every other gun in that list is a Storm variation including the Hellriegel which is just improperly labeled.

I totally missed this:

Reduced gas duration from 22 to 15 seconds.

Halle-fricken-lujah.
To Aim Assist or not to Aim Assist, that is the question.

Nope. Aim Assist or bust; here's why:

Sensible changes so far, but like @ViperFTW I remain skeptical of what the BF community will do.

The additional horizontal recoil should be added to the Automatico Trench as well IMO

A certain member of this community that always seems to be in the know regarding these things (definitely not MarbleDuck) has been saying on the reddit threads that the base-form Automatico is getting an HRec nerf, and then all Storms are getting one on top of that, so a double HRec nerf for the Automatico Storm.

My favourite two Assault weapons buffed! Seriously, there's very little else in that class that agrees with me or that I like.

I'm also very happy to see these:

Increased long reload time of Autoloading 8 .25 Extended from 2.9 to 3.066 s.
Improved Selbstlader 1906 aimed accuracy, reduced recoil and decreased spread.
Upped recoil decrease of "Low Weight" Self-loading rifles from 6 to 7.
Increased No.3 Revolver rate of fire in ADS from 119 to 138.
Added missing tiered reloading to flash flares.
Fixed issue with tiered reloading in the Mle 1903.
Corrected Frommer Stop Auto magazine capacity from 14+1 to 15+1.
Retune of Revolver No 3 reload audio to match new animation. Added hammer cocks to firing animation.
Retune of Luger1906 Reload Audio to match new animation.
Retuned audio on Gasser reload to match new animation. Added hammer cock/decock to Deploy and Undeploy to match animation.
Tweaked post reload delays to better match animations on the following weapons:
Fixed an issue with the M1911 cylinder animation so that it now matches the bullet count.

Though for the last one, I wonder which revolver they actually meant.
IMHO, im glad factory variant SLRs are getting a little buff but IMHO I would do more to make them more viable especially the M1907SL
Im glad the 1906 is getting a buff. Not it can join the hellriegel and the Huot as potent level 10 weapons.
Im also glad that the martini henry is getting a slight increase to its potency. pre patch is was a bit much but the nerf IMHO was a little too much
Im glad the No3 is getting an ADS ROF buff and also a fix so is is shown as a proper single action revolver when ADS

Also, the google metronome is great for testing ROF changes on low ROF weapons just to get a sense of how much the speed will change. For example the ADS ROF on the No 3 revolver will be changed to 138RPM.

https://www.google.com/#q=metronome

so put 138BPM into the metronome and you can get a feel of how fast it will shoot in the new patch

Well the 1906 was perfectly usable and plenty good before (not Model 8 .35 levels of good, but still), but now - now - it seems like it has *potential* (based on its actual new accuracy values once they are known) to surpass the Model 8 .35.

Only testing will determine the viability of this theory, unfortunately I have to wait for PS4's CTE, Symthic community feedback, or February's patch to know for certain.

I hope so. The lack of 1906 variants makes the two 5-round SLRs more awkward than they should be. The Rem .35 Factory is fine, but having the supposedly closer-ranged Rem .35 Marksman alongside the supposedly longer-ranged 1906 Factory with iron sights is really weird. It confuses the intended roles of the guns. If the 1906 had both Marksman and Sniper variants, the split between the two would be far clearer, and would actually let the 1906 properly operate at its intended ranges.

Don't pull hard stats on me because it's not that sort of comparison, but it's like giving the HK416 either irons or a 4x scope, but only giving the SAR-21 irons. If you look at just those three options it's a bit unclear what their roles are supposed to be; in addition to the 4x HK416 being usable but a bit iffy, the SAR-21 can't really live up to its potential or operate at its ideal range.

The Huot is in a similar situation due to its lack of a Telescopic variant, though not quite as drastically as the 1906. As a side note, I also want to see how hilariously offset the Huot's scope would be. :D

But it isn't Symthic without hard stats.

As a side note, I also want to see how hilariously offset the Huot's scope would be.

It could be that the Huot did not get its well-deserved Telescope because of the visual absurdity that it would probably present. It doesn't excuse the lack of ANY optic though.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

It could be that the Huot did not get its well-deserved Telescope because of the visual absurdity that it would probably present. It doesn't excuse the lack of ANY optic though.

I'd accept that. If you put AA sights on it they're actually centred, so Optical sights could do the same. I'd be happy with Optical and Trench; while it's a stable, ranged-ish gun it's also a AR-like, so Trench could certainly work well.

Yeah the 12g changes were needed, it is a shit weapon right now, but I think they are changing on the wrong end, the spread is not the biggest problem I see, but the inability to go ADS with it to get a spread bonus. As said, the body is way too large on this weapon and the muzzle flash, along with all other shotguns, is unbearable. Add the horrendous recoil and all that is left is a weapon that can only be used in hipfire. Herein lies the problem.

As for the Slug, though, I am quite happy because I thoroughly enjoyed it, as all other Model 10s, I think the buff might be a bit too much though. Also it tells quite a story to that they revert the damage multipliers. I think there too many bodyparts, if they change it separately for different weapons we would get very inconsistent results (as we do already) and another stat to consider when looking at the stats.

While I see the issue with the Automatico Trench, I do not see the issue with the storm variants of the automatics. I do think the TTK with automatic weapons is long enough, I would rather have a hipfire nerf for the Trench variant of the Automatico, while buffing the spread of the low ROF weapons, so that the effective range and TTK is improved.

Well the Selbstlader buff comes is well-deserved, I wonder though if they did something about the visual animations of the gun, which was rather odd.
