Some interesting facts about the new Turning Tides weapons

Thanks to @Miffyli, I have been combing through a data dump of the latest CTE weapon build (which includes all the previous weapons). I will be posting facts in this thread as I come across them. These may or may not be changes coming to retail: (EDIT: seems like many of these changes are errors. Stay tuned.)

1) The recoil on many SLRs has been reduced:
  • Mondragon: 0.9 HRec --> 0.64, 1.1 VRec --> 1.0
  • Cei-Rigotti: 0.8 HRec --> 0.56, 0.8 VRec --> 0.7
  • M1907: 1.2 HRec --> 0.7 HRec, 0.9 VRec --> 0.8
  • S1906: 0.95 VRec --> 0.9
  • S1916: 1.06 HRec --> 0.6 HRec, 1.1 VRec --> 1.0

1a) The Autoloading 8s have had an HRec nerf (0.3 --> 0.4). The Extended has had a VRec buff (0.595 --> 0.51). The RSC, Fedorov Avtomat, and Gen. Liu recoil remain unchanged.

1b) The Farquar-Hill has 0.6 HRec, and 0.9 VRec, right in between the weapons it shares an RPM and BTK model with (Mondragon and Cei-Rigotti, respectively).

2) The Farquhar-Hill does not have the bullpup mod. It also has an extremely high bullet velocity at 800 m/s.

3) The Farquhar-Hill is a 3BTK out to 47 m (just like the transition for the RSC from 2 --> 3 BTK).

4) The M1912 still has a 1200 RPM RoF and is a minimum 5BTK, which is a crazy 200 ms TTK. It maintains this TTK out to 22 m.

5) The Arisaka's fire rate is 57 RPM. Its sweet spot is from 30 --> 62.5 m.

6) The Carcano's fire rate is 73 RPM. It has no sweet spot. It is also unable to headshot an opponent over 91 m. It trades this long-range 1BTK ability for an additional 7 RPM and a better bullet velocity (+80 m/s) when compared to the G95. It also loses its assist-as-kill ability at only 42 m.

7) Neither B-A rifle is a carbine (improved moving spread) in disguise.

8) The MG 08-15 Sentry received a significant recoil nerf (0.3 HRec --> 0.7).

9) The 1900 Slug had its RoF increased, presumably to fix the select fire option. The 1900 Factory's SIPS may have also been fixed.

10) The spread decrease on SLRs was also improved by 25% it seems, but the SIPS was also increased by 25% from 0.2 to 0.25 for all non-optical SLRs. For the Avtomat Optical, RSC Optical, and Farquhar-Hill Optical the Standing SIPS was decreased by 20% to 0.1 (but not other opticals, it appears, which remain at 0.125). I find this very odd.

11) The M1903 Experimental was returned to 449 RPM and received a corresponding damage decrease.

12) The MP18 Experimental received a 50% spread decrease nerf, and all MP18s received a 10% VRec nerf.

13) Russian Trench and Cavalry seemed to get a range nerf, which I don't really understand.

14) Hellreigel Defensive magazine capacity reduced to 60.

The drastic buffing of SLR recoil values and the nerf of the 8 .35 Hrecoil can only mean one thing: the TTK shift is imminent.

I have a sourcehere that supports this theory. To summarize, there isn't a CTE session this week which leads me to believe they are preparing for something of great magnitude such as the shift including new elements to the shift like sidearms, slugs, and/ or new values. Only time will tell if this theory is true, but I hope to God it is.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

The spread decrease on SLRs was also improved by 25% it seems, but the SIPS also increased by 25% for all non-optical SLRS. The three DLC Optical SLRs saw a SIPS buff of 20%, while all other opticals saw no change...

The M1916 and the M1907 definitely saw the most beneficial recoil buffs, and they are two of the SLRs that are most impacted by the TTK shift.

Alright, you can find the changelog here (off-site, so can plot the graphs). Some of the damage values seem wonky, e.g. shotgun is picking up buckshot instead of slug it seems. Will fix these later.

Half of this is undoing an update that came along around February. Things like the Medic spread buff, LMG hipfire nerf, Hellriegel and Automatico nerf, Madsen MG buff etc are all being undone. Then there are random things like the Huot Optical getting a massive buff out of nowhere.

This makes very little sense.

Also, are there more stats for the new weapons anywhere?

Hrec buff for SLRs is a step in the right direction, as well as SIPS increase. I would certainly take less Hrec and more SIPS and more SDEC. Now if they would increase RDEC it would be great and I would trade more VREC for that.

Edit: What? Why did they reduce hip spread on LMGs? One step forward and one step back....

I'm astonished that the M1917 MG has virtually the same recoil pattern as the Lewis Gun (not to mention a worse FSRM). It somehow felt vastly more controllable and potent than it, and it didn't feel like it was only down to the fewer BTK at 39+ metres.
