General Liu Rifle

What do you guys think about the new DLC weapon? I always prefered the Medic Rifles that are a reliable 3-Shot Kill at any given range. So until now the Selbstlader 1906 was my favourite because of its superior TTK compared to the Mondragons or m1916. Now the General Liu has the same TTK as the 1906 and an extra Bullet. With shitty aim you got one more Chance to get that last 3rd Shot in. Especially in those panicky CQC gun fights the last bullet did the trick more than once for me. Pretty good gun in my opinion. Everyone who loved the 1906 should give it a try.

I kind of question why you'd go with it over the RSC, which hits harder at close range and has the same amount of ammo.

Honestly though, having played with the 1916 opt for the recent challenges, it's damn good. On paper, there may be better guns but in a medium range battle between you and more than one guy? The 1916 reigns supreme.

General Liu Rifle is pretty good gun, I use the Storm variant the most for easy spam and its managable at range too.

It s like a RSC lite variant, A little easier to use than RSC and less punishment for not hiting the second shot.

I would still use the 1906 on larger scale rush maps such as Sinai as it its 0.1 hor recoil is noticeably more suitable at dealing with snipers at 75m or so.

The Liu storm in particular is very easy to shoot as it is far less visually jarring then other guns. I would recommend the buchthorn on it as currently, the weapon model will clip through the player camera with every shot. This has made the factory variant unappealing to me, which is a shame because I was looking for a 1906 lite factory.

Are we talking about the same Selbstlader 1906 which takes four rounds to down a full-health enemy?? Or is the hit detection that much better on PC? :S

1906 is 3 rounds any range, you must not use it very often?

General Liu - storm variant with buckhorn sights is my favorite way to use the rifle.

Gun is OK, nothing special. I notice that I miss the 1906's better accuracy, as mentioned above, when shooting 70+ meters, but the extra bullet is definitely helpful. Really I'm a little disappointed that it's so similar to the 1906, in the situations where I wish I would have a 1906 you could give me a Gen. Liu and I'd be equally happy 95% of the time.

I use it every now and then when I want to switch it up between the 1906 "factory", RSC Optical, and Auto 8 Marksman.

On some rare occasions I could swear I've actually done 99 damage with 3 hits, which is weird because any combination of 3 hits should be enough to kill...

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

I think I have had 2 times where I've noticed 99 damage in around 140h of Medic play, but otherwise yeah like JSLICE points out, it shouldn't happen according to maths.
