Silly me didn't know you can fire both slugs at the same time. How do you do that? I am on console if that is matters.

Also while you have the ranking overall do you have the updated for the ranking of the weapons with out the ease of use and just for the time to kill and shooting/recovery score for the different ranges?

Also while I am asking, do you know of a source to check all the different optimal click/ fire rate for each gun?
Change the fire mode (on consoles, you press down on the D-pad IIRC). From what I've heard, there is actually like 1 frame between the shots, so it is subjext to spread increase and recoil.
"Double shot" fire mode is currently useless because second shot in "burst" is going straight to the sky:

The 1900 slug shouldn't be listed as an assault "best gun". Both barrels cannot be shot simultaneously which makes its mid-range killing ability dubious at best. Additionally the iron sights are mediocre and slug velocity / spread are horrific.

As an aside I have to question the predictive power of any ranking system for the assault class that doesn't have the automatico trench firmly in position #1.

IMO Automatico factory is better. But yes.

I think these rankings will be increasingly relevant with the new movement speeds. Off topic: anyone good with the 1900 slug have any methodological or tactical/strategical advice? I'd love to become proficient with it because it seems mechanically rewarding.

Update: Just unlocked it, my first round with it was one of the most fun rounds of battlefield I can remember. If they ever fix the burst glitch I will be irretrievably ecstatic. Even as it is now, it is perhaps the most fun gun. So for anyone wondering whether to unlock this one sooner or later; sooner. I love the precision and power. Though most of all I love the salience of each hit and miss. It gives a very crisp feedback mechanism, which is a core part of the learning process. Since imho, learning is the best part of any game, I can't emphasize enough how important that is. Also, doesn't hurt that you feel like Jason Bourne every time you use it.

Is it just me or is the Trench version of the Fedorov a lot better than the Optical one?

I don't hipfire with it. Or with anything, really.

But it still feels way more consistent and accurate despite the stats saying otherwise.

If you're not hipfiring it you're really missing out. I find it behaves similar to the automatico where the recoil makes keeping an ADS sight picture but is very controllable when fired from the hip so you can do long killing bursts.

I don't have the optical version unlocked yet because of the pistol kills (hate C96), but honestly not in any rush because there is no way I want to give up that hipfire capability.

I just never hipfire. I hate doing it and I just always reflex to ADS everytime I wanna shoot something.

Dunno if that's a habit I wanna break honestly.

Regardless it's still really weird that I'm having a much much easier time killing people with the Trench model while ADS than the optical model considering the stats.

ADS SIPS advantage for Optical vs. Trench / Factory used to be 50%, but now is only 38%.

Then, since Trench uses Iron Sights, you can actually ADS with it faster than the Optical.

I have the Optical > Trench by just 8.1% in ADS. In that, 9% better if ADS - Moving, ~7.1% better if ADS - Not Moving.

Then, since the Trench is 12.1% better in Hipfire, I have the Trench > Optical.

In fact, that is what the Original Post says: Fedorov Avtomat Trench is #2 / 33 of all Medic weapons, #15 / 108 of all BF1 weapons.

Original Post and the 4 following ones are updated as of DLC2, plus the Support LMG Hipfire Nerf from August 21st.

The "Chinese Civil War Medic" - General Liu Rifle Factory (DLC2) (419.2390024) + Mauser C96 (or is it "Wauser"?)(393.6437118 ) = 812.8827142

What do you think about the Liu Rifle compared to the 1906?

Liu Rifle is like a RSC lite version, still more than 1 kill per reload. etc.

I've used the Storm variant the most so far, got 1k kills with it already. Seems like a good SLR.

It's good but it doesn't feel as good as the 1906. I haven't found anything yet that really does.

Mind you, I don't have the storm version unlocked and that one extra bullet really does make all the difference sometimes but I'd still take the 1906 once you get out to any serious distance.

I didn't find it that hard at range to use, I found it just as easy as the 1906 to use, maybe not as easy as the Sniper variant of the 1906. Still just as easy as the 1906 Factory of which you can spam better at range for sure.
