Epic! :D
When do you think you’ll have your updated rankings with the new DLC weapons? Looking forward to it!

When do you think you’ll have your updated rankings with the new DLC weapons?

Waiting for the site to be updated: BF1 List of Every Weapon & Weapon Stats | Symthic Once you see the new guns there, then should take me like 30min to add the new entries -> generate the scores -> format the post.

As a Medic Main though, to me the new Howell doesn't seem groundbreaking. It looks like it just serves to add the missing Factory and Sniper variants to the Farquhar-Hill. I know from my playstyle that I prefer Optical and Marksman. Perhaps the stats will surprise but I doubt it. So, meh.

Reasons to use the Howell Factory over the F-H Optical:
1) Nearly zero HRec
2) Howell AA sight is now just as clear as a lens (it helps me to see all of my target when tracking movement)
3) Bipod is very useful
4) Seems like the Howell has a faster reload than the sluggish F-H, but I am not 100% sure.

Reasons to use the F-H Optical over the Howell Factory:
1) Moving spread

This is practically a straight upgrade in my opinion, and when I redo my semi-auto scoring, I believe the numbers will support that.

See your quote below.
its 3 btk up to 12 meters and the ttk is so bad you will get destroyed by shotguns or smgs, against medics you might stand some chance.

My ranking agrees with you already; and, if the Scout uses a Sweetspot Single Action Rifle, he (or the Russian she) "will get destroyed" even worse in that scenario. The Experimental is just the best of that crappy lot.

If you actually dig into the Google Sheets, you will actually see that the Sweetspot Single Action Rifles are the best... but ONLY within their respective Sweetspots. Outside of them, they are all terrible... and that is fine.

-----

So, my point is, I rank on versatility. Hence the weightings of 50% frames-to-kill-2x, 50% ease-of-use. 50% Hipfire, 50% ADS. 50% Moving, 50% Not Moving. 0.5m all the way to 125m.

If you are such a master at controlling your engagements that you only ever fight within the Sweetspot of your Single Action Rifle, ADS - Not Moving, then of course this list is not for you... well, maybe except the ADS - Not Moving ONLY list.

For the chaos that is Battlefield, though, and if I insist on playing the class that has the Minimap-Hack-and-Nothing-Else-of-Value, then let me know if I am better served than with the M1903 Experimental

Bodeo is practically a straight upgrade to the M1903 Exp. in terms of TTK inside of 22 m (nearly inside of 28 m) with the exception of mag size and reload speed. Why wouldn't you save that capability for your sidearm and then carry a sweetspot rifle anyway?

Guns that I project to 1v2 faster than the Bodeo 1889 , up to 25m Hipfire:
  1. Model 1900 Factory (DLC2)
  2. Model 1900 Slug (DLC2)
  3. Automatico M1918 Trench
  4. Sjögren Inertial Factory (DLC1)
  5. Maschinenpistole M1912 (DLC3)
  6. MP 18 Trench
  7. 12g Automatic Hunter
  8. 12g Automatic Backbored
  9. Automatico M1918 Factory
  10. BAR 1918 Trench
  11. 12g Automatic Extended
  12. M97 Trench Gun Hunter
  13. M97 Trench Gun Backbored
  14. Automatico M1918 Storm
  15. Madsen MG Trench
  16. Fedorov Avtomat Trench (DLC2)
  17. C96 Trench (DLC3)
  18. MP 18 Experimental
  19. MP 18 Optical
  20. M1907 SL Trench
  21. Cei-Rigotti Trench
  22. Howdah Pistol
  23. Bulldog
  24. Hellriegel 1915 Factory
  25. Hellriegel 1915 Defensive

It's still a pretty big list, so I don't think it is so amazing to make up for carrying a weak primary on the flag burn.

-----

Then, about that mag size and reload speed....

Deploy -> Fire + Recover -> Reload, 1v2, 10m Hipfire Not Moving:

Bodeo 1889
0.55s -> 1.2s (for 4x fired) -> 6s = 7.75s

M1903 Experimental
0.9s -> 2s (for 10x fired) -> 2.25s = 5.15s

Or, don't reload, and be left with 2x equating to 1x more possible kill with the Bodeo 1889 ... vs. 30x equating to 6x more possible kills with the M1903 Experimental .

M1903 Experimental for me still.

Reasons to use the F-H Optical over the Howell Factory:
1) Moving spread

Do you mean bipod-deployed on the Factory, vs. unsupported for the Optical? If both unsupported, then you forgot about:

2) Extension of 100% hitrate on the first shot even in ADS Not Moving, due to Optical's lower initial Spread there as well. Stats are not posted yet, but if we assume that the Howell uses the same Spread values as F-H... and of course Mondragon and M1916 and so on, then the Factory will no longer guarantee center-mass hit on first shot at between 80m to 85m. The Optical can extend that to 100m to 105m.

3) Better hitrates within the burst while firing at maximum RPM while in ADS, due to halved SIPS. Yes the TTK patch halved ADS SIPS for Factory, Storm and Trench, but Optical and Marksman got halved AGAIN. So at 50m ADS Not Moving, which is about the max of F-H's 3HK range, you can expect the F-H Optical to kill in 3 shots. The F-H Storm will probably need 4. At 100m ADS Not Moving, the F-H Optical kills in 7 straight shots, while the F-H Storm needs 5 straight shots + recovers + 3 more shots.
(I'm ignoring Storm's worse SDec but better H-Recoil here, just talking about Spread + SIPS hitrate * damage, which in ADS: Marksman > Optical > Sniper > Storm = Factory = Trench)
