New Advanced Control Options for Console - Stick Aiming Acceleration , Dead Zones , Trigger Thresholds

With the Spring Patch, console Players now have the new advanced control options :

Stick Aiming Acceleration

Controller Left/Right Stick :

Center Dead Zone
Axial DeadZone
Max Input Threshold

Controller Triggers :

Left Trigger Max Input Threshold
Right Trigger Max Input Threshold

Each setting has a description of what it does. But I am not sure I understand the Axial DeadZone and Stick Aiming Acceleration .
Can someone please explain the 2 settings and advise if I should change any of the settings or leave it as default ?

Stick Aiming Acceleration: This only applies to hip aiming/ camera movement. Previously, stick acceleration was on by default with no option to remove it. Let's say non-ADS sensitivity is 20. With acceleration on it'll take X amount of time/ movement to reach the selected sensitivity. Without acceleration each input is a flat 20 sensitivity units instead of progressing to 20 from 0.

Example: acceleration - 0 --> 5 --> 10 --> 15 --> 20 (not saying this is the actual method DICE uses for acceleration) | no acceleration - 0 --> 20

My recommendation: Turn it off completely. It only serves to complicate muscle memory the way I see it.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

The radial deadzone, is the 'centre' of your stick, as it's held there by the springs. This deadzone will prevent you from getting 'stick drift'.
The axial deadzone, is a cross-shaped + over the stick's throw. If you move your stick say, to the right, it will ignore a certain amount of movement up or down. Likewise vertical stick movement ignores some amount of horizontal stick movement. This deadzone will either assist or hamper your aim, depending on how you view it. It will make it easier to turn without any angle, so if you keep your crosshair at head-height, when you turn left and right, it will stay at head height unless you move the stick beyond the deadzone. However, this comes at the cost of having the stick be less responsive to small variations, and a delayed reaction time as your stick moves through the deadzone.

It's actually a really interesting feature because I know, some would say put it on 0 to get full control, and others would say that having it large could seriously help lock you into headshots.... It could possibly be exploited (and I don't mean that in the bad way, just...well utilised)

They have it on a slider of 0 - 30; 0 being slight variations up and down will not detract from pure horizontal movement i.e. more help maintaining pure horizontal movement, and 30 being that those same variations will be reflected in-game i.e. no help maintaining pure horizontal movement, it's all up to the player to execute.

The new options are very handy for flying planes, You can make the yaw and pitch appear to have the same sensitivity, which makes for nice gun runs.

It's taking a while to adjust to the new sensitivity and get all my vehicles/ stationaries back how I want them, but no acceleration is definitely a big step up

I have been wondering those for some time but did not touch them.

that default setting explains the weird wonkyness on the gunner/sidecannon in my aiming.

gonna set those to zero and learn things again.
