AT Mines is easy, over 20 of my 25 for the Hellriegel were on Tanks, you just have to use them like Limpets and they work wonders.

Which map works best for this?
Amiens Conquest. Narrow streets do all the trick. Dark Prise de Tahure may work good too.
Tip: use AT mines+AT Rocket gun. Use AT Rocket gun to make holes where you could hide your mines.

I would say mining the spawns on Amiens is the most reliable single method. You are guaranteed at least two kills per round if you use that method.

Prise de Tahure is probably number two. So many cross-road trenches to drop mines in. The bonus is that there are fast movers on that map and those count as vehicle destroys too.

Mines are actually viable, useful gadgets, so grinding them isn't totally cancerous. It just so happens they are much less useful than either RG or AT grens.

That's part of the reason I actively use all my loadout presets, so for Assault I can just switch between Grenades/TNT, RG/TNT, or RG/Mines (with differing small arms as well) on the fly. Mines aren't (assignments aside) something you need equipped 24/7, so just switching around loadouts like this makes a lot of sense.

I once created presets. . .

They just decided to reset on me, and I have never used them since. . .

I never bothered with presets. It takes like 10 seconds to change all your stuff up in the spawn menu and more often than not they just reset anyway.

Dataminers have barely managed to salvage those description cards. The DLC isn't even finished yet, I don't think we're gonna get truly concrete stats for a while yet.

Unlock cards!
All new weapons and (their assignments) reveled : battlefield_one

> destroy 2 planes with the Madsen Trench

lol.

Seriously, piss on all of those assignments and whoever dreamed them up... I will say at least that I'm grateful there isn't some 300-kill requirement with some weapon I can barely use without camping, so by comparison these are at least tolerable... Not sure why they decided to screw us even harder with the "class-against-class" requirements, and I'll say right now that I hope to god a mortar buff is coming...

Please tell me these assignments will run concurrent with the ones I'm already struggling with?? :S I'd just as soon rather get back to playing the game the way I want to instead of letting my assignment progress take precedent over attacking objectives or trying to win the round -- If I wanted to grind every night and every weekend, I'd just go back to GTAV:O... Honestly, how do they not have a single "Capture X number of flags on X map", or "Score X number of points on X map?" ?( What the hell is the point of buying Premium just to be denied the DLC weapons I paid real $$ to access?? Because at this point DICE is practically commanding every average and below average player to find a boosting party

Yeah. I agree here.

I derive fun from actually playing the game, not being led through flaming hoops like a circus tiger.

Really the most logical thing to me here is that battlepacks are cancer and need to be scrapped and that skins/paints/tags/all sorts of other cool things should be assignment locked. It gives people a cool shiny without measurably impacting play of the game. Even if you locked lengedaries behind something ridiculous like 1000 kills with the thing it would still be a more realistic and interesting experience getting them than the 0.000000000000001% chance of the RNG giving you the legendary tank paint for the tank you actually use.

Most importantly, these unlock things aren't even that much of a hook to keep people playing because they are annoying moreso than they are time consuming over the length of the lifespan of the game if you actually like it. If you don't really like it you sure as shit won't be grinding out tripwire kills. So really it only keeps the people who probably would be playing playing regardless.

not really... i've barely touched the games since the tsnp release(and it was like, 2 time in the last 2 months) yet was still able to unlock all the tsnp weapons and weapon variants, so i think it does have at least some effect on some people.
then again, it doesn't work for a long time, that's for sure, and nobody in the world aside from youtubers like battlepacks.

But...that was my point. It's not enough of a time-sink to reliably keep people in game. Lots of the assignments are either trivial because you are doing them anyway, a minor inconvenience because they require using a weapon you don't like, or complete smurf territory because they are stupid, ie tripwire bomb kills.

I don't waste my time with the smurfy ones for eg. I didn't waste my time with the mortar kills for the Chau-Tele because it's a useless weapon, etc.

Yeah, I had commented over at forumfield that at least in BF3, these kinds of 'out there' assignments were reserved more for trophies/camos/unique dogtags, so they were truly optional... I also remember in BF3 after a number of complaints DICE cut the number of co-op points needed to unlock all six weapons from 440,000 to like 160,000, so what took me almost a week to accomplish could be finished in a night -- So it's not like there isn't a precedent for tweaking or adjusting requirements...

The simple, pain-free solution would be to just make those weapons available to buy with scraps after a few weeks -- Let those who did do the assignments enjoy them exclusively for awhile, then open it up for everyone else. I don't even care if you want to make the price really high, like 5000-7500 scraps or whatever...

And I agree battlebacks are meh, their cool opening animations notwithstanding... While they're nice to look at, many of them are for weapons I would never use (LOL gold Kolibri)... I'd much rather have seen the weapons themselves or some dog tags...
