Qwark, buddy, you ok? The SMLE is for Scouts; that's a different class entirely. You can't compare a Scout rifle to a Medic rifle, it just doesn't work that way. Maybe I'm not following your train of thought here, but you should try to explain yourself because things could get ugly and quick.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

I didn't know Medics got the SMLE
Yeah you just have to select the scout class in the spawn screen, hope that helps. If you want to play medic and you want to be as effective as possible you really ought to use the 8.35 over the 1906. I love the 1906, it is my most used gun by about 3x any other. My post was merely examining the options for a performance minded player. If you don't care about try-harding then I think most guns can be quite enjoyable within their given niches. But If a player wants to play primarily within 40-75 meters of their enemy I cannot recommend that they use the 1906 over the SMLE, even if the gadgets of the scout class are less useful.

EDIT: WOW! 3 hours ago they announced the 1906 marksman variant. I've wanted for that for so long since the irons really bother me and it's one of the main reasons I think it is not truly great in it's role. Well I am extremely pleased by this development and I'm eager to see if this negates my concerns. My favourite gun may become viable after all!

Don't you think it'll be like the mondragon sniper where it's really just a marksman scope? Or does the mondragon sniper also have scope glint and I never knew it? I would be very interested if anyone knows the answer.

It will be the same variant as the Mondragon, naturally, but I have no idea if the Mondragon has glint. Seeing as it's the 4x type, it should not.

Sniper just means it has these attributes (assuming nothing has changed since I created the thread):

Sniper benefits (currently only Mondragon) -
1.) Minimum spread ADS stationary (0.667x), Heavy Barrel (No Moving)
2.) Recoil magnitude (up) (0.2x), Recoil angle (left/ right) (0.25x), Spread increase (0.25x), Bipod

I don't know how to prove it exactly, but the Mondragon Sniper absolutely does not have scope glint. I'm sure I could dig something up in the files though.

actually since it is 4x or less maybe it doesn't have scope glint. Scope glint should only be 5x and up.
