Model 10A Slug Variant Discussion

So, I recently spent some time forcing myself to use the Model 10 slug. It didn't take long before it became my favorite shotgun. I don't want to break rule 13 by self promoting too much, so I won't link anything here, but I just made a slug highlight video showcasing it's power. My username should make my youtube channel pretty easy to find if you're interested. (If the video ever processes. It's stuck at 0%, hopefully it will be done sometime tonight)

Slug pros:

-2 hit kill out to 53 meters. This makes it a mid range powerhouse.
-1 hit kill to 10 meters. It maintains CQB effectiveness.
-Very very good hipfire spread. Incredibly easy to hit targets hipfiring even if you are moving. It's Hip-Stand-Moving spread is 1.2, all others are 1.0
-Good ADS spread of 0.3 when not moving.
-You can make yourself very hard to hit between shots or during the time you pull out a sidearm via sprinting, sliding, jumping, whatever.

Slug cons:

-Slow ROF. Missing a shot is punishing.
-ADS and moving is a terrible idea. Not because the spread value is too horrible (0.5), but because the stupid optical scope sways around like a drunken sailor. I've found that you actually need to stop moving before you even click ADS. If you are moving at all during ADS it takes the scope too long to settle for my liking. So I just stop moving, hold ADS, and fire during or right at the end of the ADS animation.
-It loses BADLY to other shotguns between 10-18(ish) meters. It loses to alot of weapons in this range. Like I said above though, this can be mitigated via defensive movement in a way that is unavailable to SLRs and LMGs.

Slug Ultra-terrible-bad cons:

That damn arm multiplier. I've missed so many 1 hit kills to this thing it is infuriating. The next patch will be fixing this though, and I can't wait to see how I can perform with it after that.

I'm curious if anyone else has had luck (good or bad) with it, and your thoughts.

Quoted

Here are the Patch notes for the currents CTE, which includes changes to the Slug

Quoted

Reduced aimed dispersion from 0.3 to 0.24 when stationary and from 0.50 to 0.48 when moving.
Increased muzzle velocity from 380 to 420.
Reduced damage against gut, arms and legs.
Added ability to kill a healthy target with shots to the gut or upper arms within 8 meters.
Increased lethal range from chest shots from 10 to 11 meters.

To Aim Assist or not to Aim Assist, that is the question.

Nope. Aim Assist or bust; here's why:

Delete this post mods? I'll go bump the other thread instead.

Sorry JSLICE. I've seen so little discussion about the slug that I just figured there hadn't been a thread dedicated to it yet, so I didn't even search.
