Well, at 15 meters you might as well hipfire, where the Trench variant will win against the .25

I think 1907 SL Factory and Cei-Rigotti Factory are better because you have to wait less in between shots. Allowing to shoot more often.
But then you have the lower recoil somewhat mollifying the low spread decrease, especially compared to the 1907SL. I'm thinking, for certain maps on modes like operations where you can expect to see lots of enemies bunched up under 15 metres, the Auto 8.25 is going to be king - you'll be firing at max rof anyway.

15m Hipfire Not Moving, Times to 200dmg:

.25 Extended - 2.166666667s shooting + 0.4333333333s recovering + 2.433 reloading = 5.033s total
Rigotti Trench - 1.4s shooting + 0.2333333333s recovering + 4.467s reloading = 6.100333333s total
M1907 Trench - 1.2s shooting + 0.2s recovering + 2.3s reloading = 3.7s total

15m Hipfire Moving, Shooting TIme to 200dmg:

.25 Extended - 3.333333333s shooting + 0.6666666667s recovering + 5.466s reloading = 9.466s total
Rigotti Trench - 1.6s shooting + 0.2666666667s recovering + 4.967s reloading = 6.833666667s total
M1907 Trench - 1.6s shooting + 0.2666666667s recovering + 2.3s reloading = 4.166666667s total

15m Hipfire Not Moving, 5RB expected damage output

.25 Extended - 75.46750901
Rigotti Trench - 160.955536
M1907 Trench - 175.26831

15m Hipfire Moving, 5RB expected damage output

.25 Extended - 50.24127779
Rigotti Trench - 122.38622
M1907 Trench - 134.5911

Initial Spread matters. A LOT. More pronounced the further away you are. .25 damage model is also just not very nice overall....

What about if you include ADS time and spread for the .25? What happens at 8 metres?

In ADS, then the .25 Extended's problem is Spread Decrease, which is, as you can tell from the relevant stats, terrible.

Here are the times for the .25 Extended, in ADS - Not Moving at the same 15m:

1s shooting + 0.4s recovering + 2.433 reloading = 3.833s total

That is... already slower than the M1907 Trench, which did the same thing in 3.7s but in Hipfire. Adding the time-to-ADS, even with Iron Sights, will just make the gap larger.

-----

For ADS - Moving, same 15m, it is the same 3.833s. Now you are ahead of the M1907 Trench's 4.166666667s. So, if time-to-ADS is faster than that difference, then yes. If not, then still no.
