the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

I don't think he meant the Soviet-Finnish War, but the actual Finnish Civil War when the reactionary elements in Finland fought against Finnish communists and ended up massacring them all. It kinda started the bad blood between Finland and the USSR that would help later lead to the Soviet-Finnish War.

Finnish civil war was after fall of Russian Empire. So it won't be as a part of Russian Empire DLC.
EDIT: Along the lines of different nationalities being shown in the Russian army - a clever and subtle way they could do it is have them talk in the various languages; Ukrainian, Finnish, and Latvian, I'd expect.
Nope. While Russian Empire used different uniform for different parts of Empire, like Polish division, everyone in Russian Army was speaking in russian. Look at British Empire in BF1 - british medic speaks in english, not in hindi, and that's pretty historically accurate - nobody want a situation like "I don't understand your order, can you speak it in my language?".


I'm only suggesting what I think the original guy meant when he brought up Finland; he didn't mean the Winter War.

As for the languages, yeah, I had noticed that they did that with the British forces, but since you can tell at a look that a character is from India, and you can't tell at a look that someone is Finnish as opposed to Russian, the language difference would just be a clever way to make it clear.

Anyway, yeah, sorry to get off-topic.

I'm really looking forward to any new operations they add with the DLC. Operations is probably my favorite game mode, though at this point I don't enjoy them due to the maps, except for Scar-Amiens.

A possibility with this expansion: a periscope rifle. They Shall not Pass seems to feature trench warfare in some capacity which would be ideal for a periscope rifle variation.

It would have to be a gadget with limited rounds like K Bullets, because in no way would I absolutely stand for Scouts being able to shoot freely without any fear of direct retaliation when they are already buff as shit in BF1. It could also be a Support gadget to fit in with his theme of indirect fire/suppression, but instead of Supports standing back being worthless with Mortars all game, now they'll be just as aggravating to deal with as Scouts while being totally worthless as teammates who won't push


I'd just rather not have this gadget at all, or make it a stationary emplacement only in strategic spots like HMGs

My initial thought was that it would be an all-kit, bolt-action rifle with *some* Self Loading Rifle characteristics. It would be a Gadget retaining 5 rounds that could be automatically resupplied. The periscope would utilize a 6x magnification optic, display scope glint when positioned and can only be used stationary while aimed down sight with the following statistics:

That's why my hypothetical implementation must be deployed (read: bipoded) while standing, can only be used while ADS, displays scope glint with 6x magnification, and only retains 5 rounds that can only be regenerated once completely empty.

With a Base Spread of 0.1 (or 0.15) and a minimum damage of 55 this eliminates the possibility of one shot headshots at 50m and beyond relegating it to more of a body shot asset at further ranges. With only 5 rounds, 5 upper torso body shots is only enough to kill 2 full health opponents past 50m. It would be most effective for medium range headshots.

As an all-kit tool, it would imply sacrificing something of great importance to an Assault, Medic, Support, or Scout for a minor indirect fire advantage.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

That's why my hypothetical implementation must be deployed (read: bipoded) while standing, can only be used while ADS, displays scope glint with 6x magnification, and only retains 5 rounds that can only be regenerated once completely empty.

With a Base Spread of 0.1 (or 0.15) and a minimum damage of 55 this eliminates the possibility of one shot headshots at 50m and beyond relegating it to more of a body shot asset at further ranges. With only 5 rounds, 5 upper torso body shots is only enough to kill 2 full health opponents past 50m. It would be most effective for medium range headshots.

As an all-kit tool, it would imply sacrificing something of great importance to an Assault, Medic, Support, or Scout for a minor indirect fire advantage.
It would also be a giant and easy target for field guns, rocket guns, and tanks. This would implicitly limit the gadget since you're going to encounter lots of rocket guns at least, and definitely a combination of the other two.
